As promised in the previous issue, Hult Prize Pakistan has conducted its National Final on May 12, 2018, and I am pleased to announce that the Team Pakistan Development Exchange from PIDE (Pakistan Institute of Development Economics) Islamabad has Won PKR 5 Millon as Hult Prize Pakistan 2018 National Prize. Interestingly, the Runnerup Team has offered PKR 10 Million for business growth by one of the Investors participating as Judge during the National Final on May 12, 2018.

This year’s 14 start-ups were selected from more than 100 applicants, for their ideas designed to support cleaner energy generation, monitoring and trading, electric vehicles, energy efficiency, better waste management and new farming technologies.
